Walking Club

​

WI Evening Walk – Wednesday 17th April 2024

​

A Circuit of Skipton Woods, c. 2.5/3ml.

 

Meet 5.45pm at Embsay car park to car share.  Travel to Coach Street Car Park, Skipton.  The route follows the Springs Canal from the canal basin at Coach Street, which leads into the woods.  The route then follows Eller Beck to the Round Dam.  After a circuit of the woods via the Short Lee Lane entrance, the route retraces the first part of the walk back along the Springs Canal.

The next Craft Club will be on Tuesday 30 April 2024, 2 - 4 pm in the Supper Room, at the back of the kitchen in the Village Institute.

WI Catering

If you are interested in booking our WI to help with your catering event, and would like to discuss this with us, please click contact us.

The Local National Trust Walking Group have been for a pie and pea tea after their walk in September, and 45 people from a Community Group in York, travelled for afternoon tea in September (postponed from last year).

 

​

We have enough vintage cups, saucers and plates for 70 people.  This is available for hire for a small donation.  Please use the contact us page.
