Lunch Club
The next Lunch Club will be held at at 12 midday on Tuesday 20 May 2025 at (venue to be decided)

Book Club
This group is full at the moment. The next meeting is on Monday 16th June and the book being read is Bridge of Clay by Markus Zusak.
Walking Club
WI Evening Walk – Tuesday 20th May at 6.00pm
Bradley and Farnhill Canal Walk
Start (6.00pm) public car park at Bradley, on the right-hand side, just after the swing bridge over the canal and adjacent to the Cricket Field.
A leisurely stroll along the Leeds-Liverpool Canal to the Farnhill Swing Bridge. Once over the bridge, the route follows a short green lane to the road. Turning right uphill and then next left onto the Bradley road, the route follows the road which climbs through Farnhill Woods and offers extensive views of the Aire Valley and Leeds-Liverpool Canal. The route continues down the road into Bradley village and back to the car park. The walk is c. 4 miles. Please wear suitable footwear (walking boots/shoes or trail shoes) bring a drink and a waterproof jacket.
Alternatively, for a shorter option, we can turn left down the road and loop back onto the Leeds-Liverpool Canal after the green lane.

WI Craft Club (or just a chat)
The next Craft Club will be on Tuesday 6 May 2025, 2 - 4 pm in the Supper Room, at the back of the kitchen in the Village Institute.
We will be making name badges again , to wear at the next meeting. Bev will bring some craft materials but if you want to bring something yourself, please do.
We have been asked by Dementia Forward, to knit or crochet triangles in yellow or green (or both, or striped etc) so that they can make bunting for their stall at Yarndale in September. Please get in touch if you re interested.
WI Catering

We are providing Afternoon Tea for 60 people in aid of Cancer Research Yorkshire, on Saturday 8th March 2 - 4 pm. Tickets are available from Cynthia Kent via the Contact us page or from any committee member.
We have enough vintage cups, saucers and plates for 70 people. This is available for hire for a small donation. Please use the contact us page.
