Lunch Club

The next Lunch Club will be held at at 12.30 on Tuesday 24th February at the Elm Tree in Embsay.  There is a £10 meal deal!

Book Club

 

The next meeting is on Monday 16th February and the group plan to read the book The Glassmaker by Tracey Chevalier.​

WI Craft Club (or just a chat)

The next Craft Club is on 3 March 2026 at 2 pm and we will meet in the Supper Room at the Village Institute.  Catherine will be showing us how to do Stained Glass and she will all only be able to show 10 people how to do it, the rest will have to wait for another date I'm afraid.

We have been asked by Dementia Forward, to knit little hearts which will be given to Eatons Funeral Directors, to put one in the coffin and give one to the bereaved relatives.  The pattern is available if you are interested, and I have a small amount of yarn!

​We provided Afternoon Tea for 60 people in aid of Cancer Research Yorkshire, on Saturday 8th March 2025. It was a fabulous affair!

We have enough vintage cups, saucers and plates for 70 people.  This is available for hire for a small donation.  Please use the contact us page.
